Day Four

Image
There isn't that much to report today. I put down the traps around Pam's and put a few around my house. I then spent the rest of the day studying the journal. It seems to have an infinite amount of pages. I spent a good two hours trying to flick to the end and only got more pages. It might just have really thin pages but I doubt that. Also using different colored pens or pencils makes the text the color of the words. This could be useful. WRITING LARGER MAKES THE TEXT LARGE . Same goes for small text And tilted text Also I can't tear pages out of the journal. It must have a really strong spine. Also drawing images in the journal makes them show up in the blog. It's really intriguing. I should probably try to find its owner but whoever they are probably made it for me. Either that or the journal just decided to link up with me. Anyways, it's getting late. I haven't had that much to eat - with most of my time being spent seeing what the journal can do. I've b...

Day Three

test 1,2,3. I've found something big. It happened when I was in Cock's Hunting Goods. Cock's, like most of the stores in the town, didn't have any lights on. I decided to try the door though. It wasn't locked.  The store looked abandoned. No employees were around. There was a thin layer of dust on all of the surfaces. I found the traps I needed for that... thing easily. I found nobody at the register so I just left the cash there. That was when I found it. A journal. It's good-quality. The cover is made of leather. But this isn't what's so special about it. It's what's on the inside. I decided to open it up to see if it had any details about the owner on the inside. Imagine my shock when I found my most recent blog posts taking up the first two pages. Even the images were in there. They didn't look glued on. They looked like they were printed on the pages of the book. Another thing I noticed about the book was the logo on the cover. An L mer...

Day Two

Image
I think that I should say something right now. These posts usually don't chronicle a single day. It just feels better than using "Part x" or "Chapter x" and I feel too lazy to add individual titles. The events of this post happen right after Day 1. After I had finished my shower I got dressed in my usual attire. I got three shirts and a pair of jeans for my Birthday. They're the first clothes I had got since moving into Blackstone Hills. They feel nice - if a bit baggy. I grabbed one of these shirts and some slacks. This was to be my attire for the day. Upon stepping outside I noticed something odd. There was nobody outside. Not even Darryl, who would usually be taking his morning walk at this time. I thought "maybe he's at work." but then I realised that his car was still in the driveway. It's still in the driveway. Waiting for its owner to return. I decided to try to call someone. I grabbed my phone and called the first number on speed d...

Day One

Hi, my name is Eddie. I'm like most people my age - I have a somewhat small presence in real life and on the internet. I live in Blackstone Hills, MA. Population 2100 At least it was 2100 until the "incident". I managed to sleep through the incident. It was a Thursday night and I didn't have that much to do at night. I slept like a log that night. I remember having a dream about something chasing me through a labyrinth of flesh. It was weird. Anyways, when I woke up I noticed something odd. There were no birds singing. In fact there wasn't a sound at all. Not even the wind. I decided to ignore it but then I found something odd. I couldn't get onto any website. It didn't even show me the "you have no internet" screen. Just blackness - a staring blackness. Almost every website I went to showed me this. Except for one. My blog. I thought that that was odd but just chalked it up to a bug. "I'll send my computer in to tech support first thin...
